Send application mail with SocketLabs Injection API

Use the supported SocketLabs injection library, inspect request/recipient results, and keep reporting and submission separate.

Reviewed

SocketLabs’ Injection API accepts outbound messages and supports related messages/merging. Use its official library guidance for your runtime and provisioned server model rather than adapting a configuration/reporting request into a send.

Submit one controlled message

  1. Load the injection credential and required server/account identity from backend configuration.
  2. Choose an authenticated sender and one approved recipient.
  3. Build a simple message using the library’s current model; if using merge data, explicitly map the recipient and template variables.
  4. Submit once and retain returned request/message correlation and any per-recipient errors with the application send record.

The API overview distinguishes JSON/XML injection results from final delivery reporting. Do not treat a successfully parsed HTTP response as evidence that every recipient was accepted or delivered.

Verify and handle uncertainty

Inspect the sending server’s activity, controlled recipient, and feedback. For ongoing status tracking, SocketLabs recommends Event Webhooks rather than repeated one-off reporting pulls.

Check sender configuration, credential scope, validation errors, and account restrictions before retrying a rejected message. An interrupted request may already have been accepted; reconcile provider evidence before submitting a second copy.

MailKite’s SDK offers a separate delivery contract and does not accept a SocketLabs server ID as authentication. Keep a provider cutover explicit in application configuration.
